Once a job has been secured, your I-797 form will be issued by our program sponsor. The I-797 form is the official U.S Government document, which allows you to work legally in the United States. This document is presented to the U.S Consulate when applying for the H2B visa. The H2B visa is valid for 8 months of work. In order for your visa application to be successful you will need to provide sufficient proof of return to South Africa to continue either studying or being gainfully employed.
The final decision regarding visas is always at the discretion of the U.S Consulate.
