Spending money
When arriving in the U.S. participants are advised to have a minimum of $400 which you may need to cover for your housing deposit and travel expenses to your work site before your first salary payment.
Housing
Fully furnished staff housing will be provided by Awesome Travel. The cost of housing is deducted from your pay check every single week.
Insurance
US Government regulations require appropriate medical and travel insurance for participants on work programs to the U.S. All participants must be insured for the full duration of their work program. The policy offered through Awesome Placements is designed to meet U.S government requirements and it is therefore compulsory to take our insurance.
Please note, that this insurance is a travel insurance and not a “medical aid” . It will cover you for hospitalization; emergencies and flying you home in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
