- Copy of your passport (if you don’t have a current passport, you must submit a copy of your ID as well as a copy of the acknowledgement of receipt from the Department of Home Affairs).
- Copy of any previous U.S. visas
- 3 x colour ID photos
- 1 page American style Resume (template available)
- Cover letter introducing yourself, describing your previous work experience and skills, and what you hope to gain from the experience.
- 1 letter of reference from a past employer or lecturer (No family or friends). The letter must be signed and be on a letterhead or have the recommenders business card attached.
- Police Clearance certificate
- Medical Report (signed by a doctor)

If you pass your interview we will then schedule you a face to face interview with a representative from the Ritz Carlton.
Once your job has been confirmed by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel you will receive a full contract and be required to pay your program fee. We will then schedule you a visa appointment at the U.S. Consulate and finalize all your travel arrangements.
All applicants MUST attend a compulsory pre- departure orientation in South Africa that takes place in mid October.
