Applicants will have to submit the following along with the U.S Program Sponsor application form:
- 3 Colour passport photos.
- An American-style CV or resume (a sample American style CV is supplied as part of the U.S.
- Program Sponsor Application form)
- 2 letters of reference written within the last 12 months from a past employer/lecturer (No family or friends). The letters must be signed and on a letterhead or be included with the recommenders business card.
- Copy of your passport (if you don’t have a current passport, you will need to submit a copy of your ID as well as a copy of the acknowledgement of receipt from the Department of Home Affairs).
- Copies of all previous U.S. visas
- Copy of applicant’s degree or transcripts (for Graduates only).
- Program registration fee of R750
- Motivational letter – introduce yourself, describe your previous academic and/or work experience, describe skills and knowledge you would contribute, what you hope to gain (personally and professionally) from the experience.
- Police Clearance certificate
- Medical report (signed by a doctor)
