Visa Costs

$140 visa fee
This non-refundable visa application fee is payable directly into the US Consulate’s bank account prior to your visa appointment. There are two are two options to pay for your US visa fee.

Option 1: Make payment in CASH ONLY at any ABSA branch, taking with you your unique pre-populated deposit slip which you have downloaded from the US Consulate’s website.

Option 2: Make payment with a credit card on the US Consulate’s website.

SEVIS fee - $35 (Non-refundable)
The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is a government, computerized system that maintains and manages data about foreign students and exchange visitors during their stay in the United States.
