The Intern in Britain is a cultural exchange program which allows current young South African hospitality students or recent graduates the opportunity to work in the UK for up to 6 months. The program has been made available to South Africans after long negotiations with the UK government.
This program gives participants the opportunity to experience life in the UK and fully immerse oneself in their culture, arts, entertainment. Participants are required to have an arranged job prior to arrival. We have partnered with Umi Hotels who have two properties, one in London and second one in Brighton who are looking for Hospitality interns.
Umi Hotels have pioneered a new concept in hotels by offering superior service, facilities and accommodation all at a value price. Their focus was on building a unique hotel with emphasis on building a brand with meaning behind it as opposed to just another hotel. This program is an awesome way to spend time living and working in Britain learning about their culture, history and country whilst gaining international work experience at the same time.
