Application Information
Applications are open all year round.
HOW TO APPLY
You can apply either online or download an application and mail it to us.
You will need to collect and submit the following supporting documents:
- Submit proof of having passed matric at a minimum otherwise submit proof of having completed a course at a tertiary level.
- Copy of your passport (if you don't have a current passport, you will need to submit a copy of your ID and a copy of the acknowledgement of receipt from the Department of Home Affairs).
- Program registration fee of R750 (non-refundable)
- 8 x smiling ID photos.
- Provide a medical report completed by a qualified medical doctor.
- Copy of your matric certificate.
- Copy of your driver's license and have a minimum of 50 hours of driving experience.
- Police clearance certificate.
- Provide at least two references attesting your child care experience as well as one character reference. Please note: Friends and family are not acceptable references.
- Write an Au Pair essay describing your life, family, goals and achievements that make you proud. Include reasons for wanting to participate on the Au Pair program and detail your child care experience.
- Au Pair photo album: Secure on 2 separate sheets of white paper, 8 photos showing you and your family, friends and children that you have looked after. Next to each photo give a brief description.
